Following the completion of consultations on the draft regulations issued in October 2018, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India released final non-linked and linked insurance products regulations on 9 July 2019, which supersede the 2013 regulations. This e-Alert highlights the key changes in regulations from 2013 to 2019 and discusses the business implications for insurers.
